About Jaiprakash Pandey.

Jaiprakash Pandey is the creator of SourceCAD, a CAD and engineering learning platform. He is a published author of the Autodesk AutoCAD book by Packt publication and a certified Autodesk AutoCAD professional.

Education

Jaiprakash has a diploma in mechanical engineering from SRM college of technical education, Ambala (don’t get confused with SRM university, this one is different!).

He also took training in CAD, CAM and CAE from Indo Danish Tool Room, Jamshedpur, India.

Past Work

Jaiprakash started working in Indian Die Casting Industries, Aligarh where he worked with Zinc and Aluminium die-casted parts. He also learned quite a lot about dies, high-pressure casting and part drawings.

Later he joined a Danish design consulting company Ramboll, which is a global leader in Architectural, Oil and Gas, Sustainable energy projects and more.

He also worked with Koenig Solution which is a globally recognised corporate training company and he worked here as an Autodesk product trainer.

Current Work

He left his full-time work in 2016 and started working full-time with SourceCAD.

Since then he is working as a content creator and author at SourceCAD, developing courses and training material for AutoCAD, Fusion 360, Solidworks and more.

Jaiprakash is working towards making SourceCAD a globally recognised name in CAD and engineering training.
